Invoicing
Invoices with Swiss QR-bill, straight from your hours
Starthop creates invoices and credit notes with the Swiss QR-bill payment part, the right VAT for clients at home and abroad, and your own number sequence. Each PDF also carries an EN 16931 e-invoice (ZUGFeRD / Factur-X) that accounting software can read. Invoices can be built from logged hours in one click, and on the Ultra plan their payment is matched when your bank statement comes in.
Swiss QR-bill included
Each invoice can carry the Swiss QR-bill payment part with your IBAN and a structured reference, so clients pay it with their banking app.
VAT done right
Your address and VAT number, the client's VAT number, the service period and the right rate appear on every invoice and credit note, as Swiss and EU VAT rules require.
E-invoice built in
Every invoice PDF carries an EN 16931 e-invoice (ZUGFeRD / Factur-X): your client's accounting software reads the data without retyping it, and people still see a normal PDF.
VAT across borders
Business clients abroad are invoiced under the reverse charge, with 0 % VAT, the required note and both VAT numbers. Starthop decides from the countries; you can override it per client.
Your numbering, your look
Set your invoice and credit-note prefixes and sequences, your greeting text and your company details once.
Paid means paid
With the Banking module (Ultra plan), import your bank statement and incoming payments are matched to open invoices, so you know what is paid without checking by hand.
